세계 음악 씬의 흐름을 한 번에 들을 수 있는 키츠네 컴필레이션!
Kitsuné Parisien에 이은 프랑스 음악 씬의 새로운 경향, Kitsuné Parisien Ⅱ

비범한 음악과 비범한 행보로 트렌드를 앞서 가는 레이블 키츠네가 <Kitsuné Parisien>에 이어 <Kitsuné Parisien Ⅱ>를 발매했다. 화려한 색채의 흥미진진한 트랙들이 수록되어있는 이번 컴필레이션은 파리뿐만 아니라 파리를 넘어 활발하게 활동 중인 밴드들과 신진 밴드들의 곡들이 실려있다. 이 트랙들은 재능 있는 기대주를 발견하고 New Breed를 만들어가는 것이 키츠네의 목표이자 역할이라는 의미를 암시하고 있다. 주로 기타를 기반으로 한 인디 댄스, 일렉트로닉 팝으로 구성되어 있으며 참신한 아티스트들을 통해 만들어진 활기 넘치는 음악들은 Two Door Cinema Club, Klaxons, Wolfmother, Simian Mobile Disco, Crystal Castle, Gossip 등의 뒤를 이어 키츠네가 발견한 유망주가 성장해나가는 모습을 기대하게 할 것이다.

더는 설명이 필요 없는 전 세계가 주목하는 프랑스 일렉트로닉 듀오 BEATAUCUE는 키츠네 메종 컴필레이션 vol.10에 참여한 데 이어 ‘kiho’라는 곡으로 이번 컴필레이션에 참여했다. Kylie, Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, Pony Pony Run Run, Florrie, Mika 등 아티스트의 곡들을 리믹스하며 자리 잡기 시작한 후 서서히 발전되고 더욱 성숙해진 Beataucue의 사운드를 느껴볼 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 아티스트, 그래픽 디자이너, 작가들로 구성된 Wolfpack Beartrack의 ‘Modern Realm’ 역시 빼놓을 수 없는 트랙이다. 키츠네 음반에서는 좀처럼 듣기 어려운 힙합 랩핑이 가미된 트랙이지만, 그 기반에는 역시 노이즈와 신스 팝 사운드로 점철되어있어 흥미를 끌 만하다. 이외에도 레트로 신스의 정수를 느낄 수 있는 Exotica의 ‘Spectrum’의 라디오 에디트 버전과 pop-rock과 일렉트로닉을 기발하게 믹스하는 LA//KVLKD의 ‘Zephyr’ 등도 주목할만한 트랙이다.
